Help New Hope reach our goal to raise $60,000 by creating a personalized fundraising page for our 2025 Community Support Campaign during the month of May. Here are step-by-step instructions to create your individual fundraising page on Give Lively.

Step 1: go to New Hope’s Give Lively Create a Fundraising Page

Step 2: Create a Give Lively account

  1. Fill out your Name, Email, and preferred Password in the form provided. Make sure you have direct access to the email address, as you will receive an email to confirm your account to finish the registration process.
  2. Press the Create Account button. You will receive an email verification to the email address provided

Step 3: Personalize your page

  1. Name on Page: choose how your name should appear on the page.
  2. Add A Note: write a write a passionate personal note so your network understands the importance of contributing.
  3. Your Fundraising Goal: The default amount is the overall New Hope fundraising goal. Choose an amount you would like to target and enter it here, e.g. $500 or $1,000.
  4. Profile Image: Your friends and family will be more comfortable and likely to donate if they recognize you on the fundraising page. To upload your image, select “Upload new image” and then navigate to the image file you want from files on your computer or device you are setting up your page on. A good-quality JPG is best, with minimum dimensions of 640×640 pixels, but no larger than 1 MB. Use the image cropper to frame your image: slide the gray ball along the scale to zoom in or out; click and drag on the image to center it as desired. Then click the “Save” button.
  5. Hero Image: The default image is New Hope’s campaign banner. You can replace it with an image or video of your loved one(s) that you are fundraising in memory of.
    (a) Default Image – No further action is required.
    (b) Image – Select “Upload new image” and then navigate to the image file you want from files on your computer or device. A large, high-quality image is best, with recommended dimensions of 2000×1200 pixels (5:3 aspect ratio). Use the image cropper to frame your image: slide the gray ball along the scale to zoom in or out; click and drag on the image to center it as desired. Then click the “Save” button.
    (c) Video – Select “Edit” and then paste in the direct link to a public video (only Vimeo and YouTube [but not YouTube Shorts]) that you wish to embed on your page. Paste the full URL (with “http://” or “https://“), not an “embed code.” Then click the “OK” button.
    (d) No Media – Click the “No Media” button to have no primary image.
  6. Click the “Save” button.  
  7. Lastly, bookmark your fundraising page in your browser so you can easily return to it later. Alternatively, while you are logged in, you can visit any Campaign Page you’re supporting and click your email address at the top right of the screen. This opens a dropdown menu that includes links to all of your fundraising pages under “Your Fundraising Pages.”

Step 4: Reach out to your network

The first rule of fundraising is: always talk about your fundraiser. This is how you convert excitement and goodwill into dollars for your chosen cause’s important mission! 

Share word of your fundraiser in two ways: 

  1. Click the “Share This Page” button under “Donate”. Then select the icon of a social media site you use. Choosing the email icon allows you to compose an email with the link to your fundraiser.
  1. Click the “Copy Link” button under “Donate” to copy the link and paste it into an email, a social media post or anywhere else that accepts links.
