Because No Family Should Grieve Alone
New Hope Family Camp is a weekend bereavement camp designed for the entire family. It takes place in beautiful Idyllwild, CA at the famous Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times starting Friday evening, into Saturday, and leaving by noon on Sunday . It’s a place where families who have experienced the death of a family member can come together with other families who have lost a loved one. While at camp families will get the tools and support they will need for their journey of grief. Every member of the family who is grieving can get away for a weekend together—enjoying the beautiful outdoors, while also facing and dealing with their grief. At camp we hope that you will find comfort, hope, and healing while making new friends with other families who are also grieving a death. The purpose is that each family member is individually strengthened and supported so that the entire family can move forward together on their journey of grief to a place of “new normal”.
